The Inventory of Silence - Out 12th July
I aim to keep my events accessible, particularly for small groups, libraries, grassroots arts organisations, and volunteer‑run community projects. Below is an overview of the events I offer and the associated costs.
Community Reading — £50
A reading from my work, with optional time for questions or discussion.
Short Talk — £75
A 20–40 minute talk exploring themes within my writing, including masculinity, silence, emotional honesty, creativity, and the stories behind the work.
Panel Appearance — £40
Suitable for festivals, community events, and themed discussions.
Registered charities are welcome to book me for travel costs only.
I travel by bus or train only.
The cost is simply the actual fare from Wakefield to your venue.
No additional fees are charged.
If your group has very limited funds, please feel free to get in touch. I don’t want cost to prevent meaningful events from taking place.
If you’d like to make an enquiry, it helps to include a few details so I can get back to you quickly and clearly. Please let me know:
• the type of event you’re planning
• your location or venue
• your preferred dates or general timeframe
• any additional information you think might be useful — audience size, access needs, format, or anything else you’d like me to know
You can reach me through the contact page, and I’ll respond as soon as I can. I’m always happy to hear from organisers, groups, festivals, libraries, and anyone interested in arranging a reading, talk, or appearance.
